Madison Gates, a native of
Baldwinsville, New York
, is the head coach for the U9/10 Girls Academy team and the assistant coach for the U16 Girls Blue team. Currently she is the assistant women’s soccer coach at
OnondagaCommunity College
. This year the team made it to the NJCAA Regionals in the programs start up season.
In May 2009 she graduated from the
University
of
Michigan
with a Sport Management degree in the
school
of
Kinesiology
where she played all 4 years as the goalkeeper for the Wolverines. In 2007 she was named Big Ten Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week and Soccer America Women’s Team of the Week. Along with her accomplishments at the
University
of
Michigan
, Gates played on the Region 1 ODP team from 2001-2005 where she traveled and played in in 2003 and in 2004. She was also selected to the U17 National Team in ’03-’04 and the U20 National Team in ’05-’06.
Gates has been coaching and training youth teams and individuals for the past 6 years with CNYFSC. She also was an assistant goalkeeper coach for NYSW ODP from ’05-’08. Gates holds a USSF "C" License.
