In August 2007, Western New York’s top soccer clubs, the Rochester Junior Rhinos, Syracuse Football Club and Buffalo United Soccer Club joined together to form the Empire United Soccer Academy. 

Congratulations to Tyler Forbes, Jackie Firenze, Tessa Devereaux and Taylor Haenlin for earning prestigious high school soccer honors. The four will be honored this weekend at the NSCAA National Soccer Convention in Kansas City. Read details here:

U.S. Soccer Board of Directors formally approved Women’s Professional Soccer’s request for waivers today, clearing the way for the league to play its fourth season in 2012 as the only division one pro women’s soccer league in the country.

The Empire United U-16 Boys, coached by Darren Wynne, completed a successful weekend participating in the 2011 PA Classics Winter College Showcase. Read more here:

A fine defensive effort and 16 total goals topped off a fantastic weekend of soccer for EUSA Syracuse U10 boys. The team went undefeated with a 4-0-1 record and held every team scoreless over 5 games. Read more about the U10 boys here:

FRISCO, Texas (Nov. 30, 2011) – The US Youth Soccer National League will begin for boys and girls teams in the Under-15, Under-16, Under-17 and, new this year, Under-18 age groups the first two weekends in December. First up in 2011-2012, the National League Girls teams will open the fifth season of league play December 1-4 in Atlanta.
